Each mahjong rack at Four Woods is handcrafted to order, using traditional woodworking methods and premium hardwoods. Pricing reflects the time, materials, and attention to detail that go into every piece.

Rather than fixed pricing tiers, I work with each customer to understand their preferences and provide a custom quote based on the specific wood type, design complexity, and any special requests.

What Affects Pricing

Several factors influence the final price of each rack:

• Rack Category: Basic racks offer the best value, while travel racks, oversized racks, and artisan racks involve additional complexity and specialized construction.
• Wood Selection: Different hardwoods vary in cost and availability. Walnut, cherry, and maple are our standard offerings, while teak, cypress, and exotic woods may carry a premium.
• Size & Specifications: Travel racks and oversized racks require custom sizing and verification, while artisan racks involve advanced techniques and extended production time.
• Customization: Special requests such as custom inlays, unique dimensions, specialized finishes, or personalization require additional time and materials.
